Culinary collaborations at Marienlyst Palace – guest chefs and partners sought for special events, parties, and gatherings.
Marienlyst Palace reopens in spring 2026, and we want the palace to also be a venue for unique culinary experiences.
Therefore, we invite guest chefs and partners to create dinners, events, and parties within the historic setting of the palace.
When Marienlyst Palace reopens in spring 2026, it will become a vibrant place for experiences, great meals, and special evenings.
We want Marienlyst Palace to also be a place where skilled chefs can create special dinners and gastronomic experiences in a historic setting.
Guest Chefs
We would love to hear from guest chefs and passionate food creators who are interested in creating special evenings at the palace.
This could be one-off dinners or recurring events throughout the year.
You might be a freelancer, an independent chef, or part of a restaurant – and eager to create something unique within the palace's framework.
Events are planned and executed in collaboration with the palace's kitchen and team.
We are open to various formats and collaborations – from smaller themed dinners to larger gastronomic evenings.
Partners for larger events
Marienlyst Palace also hosts weddings, receptions, corporate events, and larger celebrations.
Therefore, we are looking for partners who can provide food for 40–150 guests and work closely with the palace's kitchen team for larger events.
We value:
- high quality in ingredients and craftsmanship
- good logistics and professional collaboration
- respect for the palace's setting and the guest experience
The Culinary Universe at Marienlyst Palace
In Kongens Køkken (The King's Kitchen), we operate the palace's café and kitchen.
On a daily basis, we serve brunch, lunch, and sweets inspired by the seasons and the palace's history.
Additionally, the palace hosts dinners, events, and parties in its historic halls and garden.
Examples of culinary evenings
We envision events such as:
- Hunting Dinner at the Palace
- Summer Dinner in the Garden
- The Sweet Life at the Palace
- Historically Inspired Dinner in the Old Halls
However, we are also very keen to hear from chefs who have their own ideas for special dinners or culinary experiences within the palace's setting.
Would you like to collaborate with us?
If you are a guest chef or a food supplier for larger events, we would love to hear from you.
Send a brief presentation of yourself and your company and tell us what you would like to offer to director Lene Lissau:

__________
Marienlyst Palace has roots dating back to the 16th century, when Frederik II established it as a pleasure palace near Kronborg. The current palace was built in 1759–63 by the French court architect Nicolas-Henri Jardin.
After a careful renovation, the palace will reopen in spring 2026 as a vibrant place with Kongens Køkken (The King's Kitchen), the exhibition Paradise for all time, and a varied program of events.
