On selected days – especially for events and in the initial period – it may be necessary to book a time slot to visit the castle.

Admission and privilege cards
Admission is indicated upon booking.
If you have an annual pass or a privilege card from Marienlyst Castle Friends, admission is free – but booking may still be necessary, as the castle has limited capacity.
The King's Kitchen
The King's Kitchen is open – even if you are not visiting the exhibition.
- Drop-in is possible if there is space
- On busy days, we recommend booking a table

Directions
Marienlyst Castle is located by Øresund in Helsingør.
It is a beautiful walk through the city, along the coast or through the landscape around the castle. We therefore recommend arriving on foot or by bicycle.
Distances:
- approx. 200 m to Marienlyst Station
- approx. 1.4 km to Helsingør Station
- approx. 1 km to the city centre (Axeltorv)
- approx. 1.1 km to Kronborg Castle
Parking & transport
It is not possible to park at the castle.
- Drop-off can be done at the gate
- Parking is referred to the city centre
- Alternatively, park outside the city and walk the rest of the way
For larger events, car access may be restricted.
Accessibility
Marienlyst Castle is a historic building with limitations.
- The exhibition is on the 1st floor (stairs only)
- There is no lift
- Toilets are on the ground floor
- Ramp to the ground floor
- Accessible toilet available
