Permit for the Collection
The collection is carried out with permission from the Danish Fundraising Board (Indsamlingsnævnet) in the period from August 12, 2026 to July 31, 2027.

Donations will be deposited into a separate collection account, which will be used exclusively for the collection. The collection's accounts will subsequently be published.
One-time donations
For a one-time donation, the donor chooses the donation amount and approves the payment in MobilePay.
The amount is charged once after the donor has approved the donation. This is a voluntary donation, and the donor does not receive a product or other consideration in return.
If a donation has been made by mistake, the donor must contact S/I Marienlyst Slot as soon as possible at info@marienlystslot.dk. We will then investigate whether the payment can be reversed.
Recurring donations
When setting up a recurring donation, the donor chooses:
- the size of the donation
- which date the donation should be charged
- that the donation should be repeated monthly
The amount and charge dates are displayed in MobilePay before the donor approves the donation agreement.
The recurring donation continues until the donor cancels the agreement, or until the agreement otherwise terminates.
No charges will be made after the expiration of the approved collection period on July 31, 2027, unless S/I Marienlyst Slot at that time has a valid permit to continue the collection.
Cancellation of a recurring donation
A recurring donation agreement can be cancelled at any time in the MobilePay app.
The cancellation applies to future donations. Donations that have already been made before the cancellation are generally not refunded.
The donor can also contact S/I Marienlyst Slot at info@marienlystslot.dk if there are questions or problems with a donation agreement.
Fees
MobilePay may charge a transaction fee in connection with the processing of the donation. The fee may be deducted before the donation is paid out to Marienlyst Slot's separate collection account.
The donor will not be charged a separate fee in addition to the donation amount approved in MobilePay.
Processing of personal data
When a donation is made via MobilePay, MobilePay may, with the donor's consent, disclose information to S/I Marienlyst Slot. This may include name, contact information, and information about the size of the donation, date, and payment agreement.
The information is used for:
- administration of the donation and any recurring donation agreements
- bookkeeping, accounting, and documentation of the collection
- answering questions and inquiries
- fulfillment of legal obligations
The information is not used for marketing unless the donor has specifically consented to this.
S/I Marienlyst Slot is the data controller for the personal data that the institution receives and processes. Information may be disclosed to MobilePay, bank, bookkeeper, auditor, and public authorities when necessary to administer the donation or comply with the law.
Accounting information is generally stored for five years from the end of the financial year to which the information relates. Other information is deleted when it is no longer necessary.
The donor can contact S/I Marienlyst Slot to gain insight into their own information or request that inaccurate information be corrected. The donor can also request deletion or restriction of processing, when permitted by law.
Inquiries about personal data should be sent to info@marienlystslot.dk. Complaints about the processing of personal data can be made to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
