Marienlyst Castle Friends
Marienlyst Slots Venner (MSV) is an independent support association that has worked since 2012 to preserve, reopen and develop Marienlyst Slot and gardens - for the benefit of the public.
The association was founded as a popular reaction to the plans to sell the castle and close it to public access. Through many years of persistent volunteer work, commitment and dialogue, MSV has played a crucial role in securing the castle's future.
Today, Marienlyst Castle is in a new phase, where the renovation has been completed and the focus has shifted towards operations, life and activities. Marienlyst Slots Venner and S/I Marienlyst Slot work closely together with one common story and clear roles:
- S/I Marienlyst Slot has the professional, financial and legal responsibility for operations, activities, exhibitions and communication.
- Marienlyst Slots Venner is an independent association with a focus on membership, volunteering and support for the life and development of the castle.
Together we work to ensure that Marienlyst Castle is and remains an open, vibrant and inclusive place for citizens, visitors and future generations.
