Leisure jobs for young people from 15 years old
Marienlyst Castle offers paid leisure jobs where young people get their first experience of working life.
Here they learn to take responsibility, cooperate, provide good service and understand the value of what they contribute.
For many, it will be the beginning of a new chapter, where self-confidence and the joy of success grow with the tasks.
Clarification process
For young people and adults who need to find direction, courage or new energy in relation to education or working life.
Here, participants have the opportunity to test their skills with real tasks, discover what they are capable of and what they enjoy doing – in close collaboration with municipalities, schools, companies and business mentors.
We offer meaningful tasks in the castle's authentic setting, professional and social training, as well as support from mentors with pedagogical experience.
Specially Designed Youth Education
A practice-oriented training course for young people between the ages of 16 and 25 who learn best through concrete tasks and a clear framework.
The young people participate in the daily operation of the castle – in the café, kitchen, shop, garden, as well as with tasks within events, communication and marketing – where learning and responsibility go hand in hand.
Here they receive support to develop professional, social and personal skills at their own pace.
The goal is to give young people experiences that strengthen their belief in their own abilities and pave the way towards education, jobs and an independent adult life.
Sheltered employment
A meaningful work community with support and development.
For adults with significant disabilities who cannot work under normal conditions, we offer a working day with peace, structure and meaning.
Here there is room for diversity and time for reflection – with a focus on well-being, community and small steps forward, without requirements for pace or production goals.
Progress for people affected by the disease and citizens on their way back or towards a new direction
When life has been on pause, Marienlyst Castle can be a safe place to start again.
Here, people affected by illness or stress are given the opportunity to rediscover their joy in work, their rhythm and their faith in their own abilities.
We offer a practical and meaningful course in a respectful community, where the pace is adapted to the individual and where there is room for both vulnerability and potential.
The course can be adapted individually and used as a clarifying course, where we prepare written documentation of work ability and progression in close dialogue, or a bridging course for citizens who have been granted flexible work and need support to find their way towards a new job.
