Marienlyst Palace: A small palace with big visions
After many years of work and joint effort, the palace is now at the beginning of a new chapter.
A beginning where the focus shifts from renovation to life, experiences, and community, and where Marienlyst Palace once again opens its doors as a vibrant place for citizens, visitors, and future generations.
Our ambition is to create an open and inclusive Marienlyst Palace, where history, experiences, and contemporary communities meet. A place with exhibitions, events, a café, and gardens, but also a place where people participate, contribute, and feel welcome.
At the same time, it is a fundamental part of Marienlyst Palace's mission to take social responsibility. Through social and inclusive initiatives, we strive to enable more people to be part of the community around the palace through learning, work, and volunteering.
Everything we do is done with respect for the site's history and unique character. Marienlyst Palace should not be a closed monument, but a living house with room for both contemplation and shared experiences.
We look forward to welcoming you to Marienlyst Palace and to writing the next chapter in the palace's history together.
Kongens Køkken (The King's Kitchen) is open to everyone and does not require a palace ticket. Read more, and possibly book a table indoors or outdoors in the palace garden at +45 28 59 96 22.
